The Topping TP 21 features the Tripath 2021 Class T chip with 50 Watts of power (25W per channel). It's a beautiful design, with a very simple board and a robust heat sink for reliability. Nice aluminum cabinet, and a very, very handsome on/off LED that surrounds the volume control. This unit is wider and and longer than the TP20 by about 10%. The sound is equally divine. The unit features gold RCA inputs and gold banana plug speaker connections. The on/off switch is located on the rear of the unit. A unique feature of the TP21 is the headphone output on the face. This output has its own pre-amp and kills the speakers when headphones are plugged in. The Topping TP21 ships in a nice box so it makes a great gift. The T-Amp 20 is the slightly stronger big brother of the T-Amp 10. Featuring the Tripath 2020 chip, the T-Amp 20 produces 40 Watts, (20 Watts per channel into 4 ohms), a little less into 8 ohms. The T-Amp 20 is the perfect choice when you want a little more power to drive slightly larger (or less efficient) speakers or to fill a slightly larger room. At the same time, this little amp is packed into the same compact, stylish aluminum case as the T-Amp 10 and produces the same audiophile quality sound. For just a little more money the T-Amp 20 produces a bit more sound, worthwhile if you enjoy higher listening volume levels, or if your drivers require a few more watts to deliver that smooth bass. This item ships with a very high quality Samsung 5A power supply converting 110V AC current to 12V DC. It also comes standard with a heat sink to protect the 2020 chip.
