For the DIY folks (Do it Yourself-ers), we offer the T-Amp 20 board. This board is the same one we use in our T-Amp 20, featuring the powerful Tripath 2020 chip, producing 40 Watts (20 Watts per channel) into 4 ohms (see technical specs for T Amp 20). You can use a project box, build your own box, or run the board alone as you see fit. You'll get the same wonderful sound quality as our T-Amp 20 with the satisfaction of building the final product yourself for a very personalized listening experience. We recommend you add a small heat sink to the chip for maximum reliability. We are developing a simple heat sink kit to offer to our customers. It produces 30 Watts of sweet, audiophile sound, (15w per channel) into 4 ohms, a little less into 8 ohms. An on-board volume control is included. You can use a project box, build your own box, or run the board alone as you see fit. You'll get the same sound quality as our T-Amp 10 with the satisfaction of building the final product yourself for a very personalized listening experience.

Heat Sink for T Amp 20. This simple all aluminum Heat Sink will help keep your T Amp 20 board project cool for long life and reliability. The kit comes with the heat sink material, and the nuts, screws, and washers necessary to install it. You will also need heat sink paste available at Radio Shack or any electronics store for best results. If you buy a T Amp from us, and also this heat sink, we'll install it for you for free if you ask us to in the comments at check out. No special skills are required to install the heat sink but it may require some fancy language during installation to coax the tiny screws in place. Don't worry, we'll provide an instruction sheet with this item
